Digital Marketing changes and grows exponentially. I spend several hours each week reading newsletters, listening to podcasts, watching videos, and attending webinars. Here are some of my favorites – all valuable resources for you. I urge you to follow these experts and sign up for their newsletters and learn from them every day.
I read them. I listen to them. I watch them. That’s how I keep up with the changes of this rapidly growing Digital Marketing landscape. If you want to keep up, you should too!!!
SearchEngineLand – (Newsletter) Search Engine Land covers all aspects of digital marketing, advertising technology and the martech landscape. Daily news coverage includes breaking stories, industry trends, feature announcements and product changes at popular platforms used by search marketers to reach consumers online.
MarTech Today – (Newsletter) Here you’ll get content and experiences that educate, engage and support you in your daily mission as a professional working at the intersection of marketing and technology.
Please Advise – If you’re in marketing, Please Advise is a no-brainer. It’s a well designed, quick read that you’ll enjoy opening up everyday.
Marketing Dive – Marketing Dive’s newsletter strives to give you the best of both worlds – an email that can be consumed in less than 60 seconds, but links to very in-depth content for the topics and headlines that matter most to you (and they’re even kind enough to give you a “deep dive” warning for longer pieces). They cover everything from tech to video marketing to analytics to creative and more.
Search Engine Journal – Given that they’re one of the biggest names in the space, it makes perfect sense that Search Engine Journal has a worthwhile newsletter as well. Given the sheer volume of content they create, the site itself can be a bit overwhelming, so their newsletter lets you select both the topics that matter to you (SEO, PPC, Content, Social).
Sprout Social – Sprout’s newsletter is full of insightful reports that not only inform you about the state of the market but can also be a great reference for your future articles.
Search Engine Roundtable – The purpose behind the Search Engine Roundtable is to report on the most interesting threads taking place at the SEM (Search Engine Marketing) forums. By enlisting some of the most recognized names at those forums, the Roundtable is able to not only report on these outstanding threads but also provide a synopsis that provides greater detail into those threads.
